This website has caught my attention most of this week.  If you are thinking about building a home or are just interested in seeing what options we have to save energy or use free energy, check it out.

I was amazed at some of the options out there.

Now, I'm dreaming about the possibility of building one.

Beware, the article is very long and at times the author gets so angry with people who don't consider this option that he insults us if we don't follow his advice.  I kinda skimmed over the very end, but for the most part, I was engrossed.

I'm was mainly amazed that I could have huge windows, live more luxuriously and have some options I've never thought about.  The author recommends just using a slow cooker and a microwave to cook with though.  I don't think I am willing to give up my oven and stove.  I can't really imagine cooking a whole chicken in a microwave. (Anyway, I have a NuWave Oven that saves tons of energy and makes the food very tender and delicious.  I just wish that the dome wasn't plastic.  I know that using plastic in a microwave isn't healthy...I really hope that the dome isn't harming me slowly.  The food tastes so good, I wonder if I would taste the plastic chemicals if it was creating any?)
